A nine-week system built on a clinically developed hypnosis protocol that reaches the subconscious level of your mind where effort and willpower rarely make the upgrade. Guided by Tommy Flick, Certified Master Hypnotherapist, with ten weeks of private one-on-one coaching.
Train Your Brain. Change Your Patterns.
The alarm goes off and your mind is already three steps into the day before your feet hit the floor. Not because you're excited about what is ahead, but because the mental engine doesn't have an off switch.
It runs through the meeting, the decision you've been putting off for three weeks, the conversation the night before with your partner that didn't land the way you intended. By the time you've poured your coffee, you're already managing.
At work you're sharp, capable, composed. You're performing, but you recognize blocks that you don't know how to overcome.
Opportunities arrive and something in you hesitates. You prepare, you think it through carefully, and then at the critical moment you pull back, delay, or find a reason it isn't quite the right time.
You watch other people move on the things you talked yourself out of. Caution has served you well, but somewhere along the way it crossed a line into avoidance, and that pattern is quietly costing you momentum, income, and confidence in your own judgment.
Here's the part that's hardest to explain to anyone else. You've built a life that should feel like enough, and it doesn't.
You walk through the door at home after a long day. You're physically there for dinner, for your partner, for your kids, but mentally you're still processing events from your professional life.
Your partner says something and you respond with half your attention. Nobody says anything about it anymore. It has become familiar enough that it barely registers, which is in some ways worse than if it caused a fight.
Your evening is a combination of scrolling or tuning out to a tv show. At night you know you should be resting, but instead you're replaying, planning, and worrying about tomorrow's to-do list. Sleep comes eventually, but it doesn't feel like rest. In the morning the chatter starts again before you even start your day.
From the inside, you're carrying a frustration and a tension that don't respond to anything you've thrown at them.
Racing thoughts that speed up at the worst possible moments. An internal monologue you can't seem to shut off. And underneath all of it, a quiet awareness that the gap between who you present to the world and how you actually feel has been widening for too long.
You applied the same intelligence and discipline that built everything else in your life. You read the books. Atomic Habits. The Body Keeps the Score. Maybe Dare to Lead.
They gave you a framework and language for what you were experiencing. They didn't give you the ability to change it. You understood more analytically, but the pattern kept firing on schedule subconsciously.
You may have made one real attempt at something structured. A stretch with a professional. A program. A retreat that felt like real movement for a few weeks, maybe even a few months.
There was a lift. You felt different. You thought this might be the thing that holds. And then the old pattern reasserted itself, gradually, until one morning you realized you were back in that old loop.
You didn't give up on purpose. The lift faded, and you quietly went back to your default with the private conclusion that this is just how things are going to be.
Or maybe you never tried a structured approach at all. You kept applying more effort, more analysis, more willpower, because that strategy has solved every other significant problem in your life. You told yourself that if you just thought about it clearly enough, worked hard enough at managing it, you would eventually get ahead of it. And when that didn't work, you accepted the gap as permanent. Not dramatically. Just quietly. The way a person stops noticing a low ceiling in a home after becoming so accustomed to the room.
Here's what nobody explained. You've been trying to tackle this with your analytical mind. That makes sense, because your analytical mind has solved every other significant problem in your life.
But the analytical mind is the conscious mind, and it's just reading old patterns. Like pages of information in the book of the subconscious, your mind invariably reads the content.
Every approach you have tried: the books, the retreat, the willpower, the late-night analysis -- were operating at that conscious level. The pattern isn't stored there. It's stored one level deeper, in the subconscious. The part of your mind that runs underneath your analytical thinking and holds the programming from which you operate.
That's why the books gave you language but not change. That's why the lift didn't last. That's why more effort hasn't closed the gap.
I was skeptical at first, but the self-hypnosis work actually stopped the old patterns I had been fighting for years. I didn't think anything could do that.
- Mallorie P.
The real risk is that nothing changes.
The hesitation deepens. The avoidance becomes more automatic. The opportunities you talk yourself out of this year become next year's list of what could have been.
Partners who feel unseen don't wait forever. The connection thins. The pattern is slowly turning your most important relationships into something you manage around rather than something you build together.
The tension, the disrupted sleep, the fatigue. Each cycle of pushing past your capacity takes more out of you than the last one. The resilience that always felt bottomless starts showing its limits.
Let's paint the picture of the other side of this work. The calm. The ease in your relationships. The way opportunity starts to feel like a joy again.
But if you're like most of the people who find their way to this work, a part of you would read that picture and quietly conclude, "I know other people can do that, but I'm not sure if I can."
That thought is worth pausing on. Because the same programming that has kept the pattern running is the thing that now says real change is available to everyone except you.
You don't have to argue with it, and you don't have to accept the whole picture today. There's something much smaller worth considering.
Somewhere in the first couple of weeks of this work, you'll likely catch yourself thinking a thought you wouldn't have thought a week earlier. Something small. A situation that would normally have tightened your chest, and this time it doesn't.
A moment at dinner when you actually hear what your child said, because you were present rather than three steps into tomorrow. You won't have to go looking for it. You may simply notice, almost in passing, that it happened.
Once a person catches themselves thinking differently than they did a few days earlier, that person recognizes something very important: the reprogramming is working. Curiosity naturally builds. They start to wonder what else might change.
Tommy helps you learn to trust yourself and builds you up in a way that makes it seem effortless.
- Christopher S.
For a long time, the thing driving me wasn't a desire to succeed. It was the fear of failing.
From the outside I was highly functional, but underneath, my mind ran on anxiety and a quiet fear of being seen as weak, or as less than. I achieved plenty. I just did all of it while bracing for the moment it might fall apart.
What finally changed the pattern wasn't more thinking. Through subconscious-focused work on myself, I reached a part of my own mind I had never been able to get to consciously, and that was the part generating the fear.
Years of insight had never touched it, because insight was operating at the wrong level entirely.
When the work reached that level, the fear stopped running the show. The anxiety attached to failure and weakness is no longer what drives my behavior. What drives me now is wanting to enjoy my life and do work that's worth doing, for myself and for the people around me. It's the same ambition I always had, without the cost that used to come with it.
The first thing I noticed was small. I used to stand in front of the mirror in the morning and feel the weight of everything I had to get through that day. Now I look at the same day and look forward to it, because my brain meets it with a plan it understands instead of a list it dreads.
Once you catch yourself thinking a genuinely different thought than the one you had a few days before, curiosity builds fast and you start wanting to see what else is going to change.
The information driving the pattern is stored underneath the level where your thinking happens. Reach that level, change what is stored there, and your relationships, your moods, and the way an ordinary day feels all begin to change with it.
I've studied many approaches to this work. I teach this one because it's the one that actually reaches that level, and it's the only kind of work I'm willing to put my name on.
Train Your Brain. Change Your Patterns.
We all have patterns. Some of them we chose. Most of them we didn't.
The Pattern Playbook is a nine-week system that teaches you how to reach the subconscious level of your mind where your patterns are stored, and release the ones that are no longer serving you. Tommy will teach you a form of hypnosis and the daily routine you need to produce any change you want in your life.
This isn't a library of videos to work through on your own. It's a defined, step-by-step method called The Recognition Method. Tommy guides you with a new Recognition each week that compounds on what you've already learned the week before. The founding group started in August 2026 and the next enrollment opens in October. Add your name to the list and Tommy will reach out once enrollment opens.
The program gives you structure and the format gives you privacy. Your coaching with Tommy is completely one-on-one. There is no group interaction. For ten full weeks you have direct private access to Tommy to ask questions, process what comes up and stay supported throughout the work.
Think of your brain as a garage. You want to park your car in it, but it's so full there's no room.
Most people respond by trying to build a bigger garage, more effort, more systems, more room to store it all. When you actually look at what is in there, though, a lot of it doesn't even belong to you. A limiting belief from a parent, something you absorbed from a family system, things the mind has held onto for so long they feel permanent.
The Recognition Method is how you clean out the garage. You decide what stays and what goes, you put back only what is useful to you, and you get to use your mind in the exact ways you actually desire.
Here's why this reaches what other approaches didn't.
The Recognition Method is built to work at that deeper level, which is why it produces lasting release where other conscious-based approaches don't work as effectively.
Experience the Recognition Method. Nine weeks of video coaching from Tommy, with a new Recognition delivered to you each week to practice and private one-on-one coaching for the full 10 weeks. You commit 15-20 minutes of daily practice to see the change. That's way less time than the mental energy you've been spending managing the pattern every day.
Clear out the patterns, beliefs, and conditioning that were never yours to begin with.
Before you can install anything new, the space has to be cleared. Most people are surprised by how much of what they carry was never theirs in the first place.
Begin installing the patterns you're actually choosing. With the old programming cleared, you now have the space to put back only what is useful to you.
You're not becoming someone different. You're returning to center and choosing what gets to stay.
Live in the space you've cleared and step into a daily practice you carry forward for life.
This is where the practice becomes yours. Not something you're guided through, but something you own and carry forward.
By the end of The Pattern Playbook, you're more aware of your subconscious thoughts and your brain has been trained to meet your life differently. The constant internal negotiation quiets down, because the programming it was running on has been retrained.
What got you this far was conscious effort, working as hard as it could at the level it could reach. What takes you the rest of the way is the subconscious itself, trained to operate from a different paradigm. That training is teachable.
Tommy was amazing to work with. He showed me parts of my brain I didn't even know were there and it helped me tremendously. I'm extremely thankful for his work.
- Ryan S.
Phase 1: Empty — clear patterns that were never yours (weeks 1–4)
Phase 2: Create — install the patterns you choose (weeks 5–6)
Phase 3: Fulfill — live in the cleared space (weeks 7–9)
If you're hesitant about the nine-week structure, you might want to sit with that for a moment. That isn't a scheduling conflict. It's the pattern, looking for permission to stay.
Your brain needs repetition and rhythm to retrain. The weekly structure is what produces that change.
I charge $225 an hour for one-on-one work. Ten weeks of private coaching at that rate runs well over $2,000, and this program is loaded with additional teachings and materials.
I built The Pattern Playbook so that more people could access this work without waiting for a spot on my calendar.
Everything in this program is the same method I use with my private clients. The same protocol, the same Recognitions, the same sequence. The difference is the format, not the depth.
Ten weeks of private one-on-one coaching with Tommy. The structure of a proven protocol. The depth of a private coaching relationship.

If your first thought is "I'm not worth that kind of investment," I want you to notice that thought. That's a pattern. It's the same kind of programming this program is built to reach. The part of your mind telling you not to invest in yourself isn't protecting you. It's keeping you exactly where you are.
If you enroll and realize before we start that this isn't the right fit, you get a full refund minus processing fees.
Once the program begins, I'm committed to you for the full ten weeks, and I'm asking you to be committed too.
Now, if you hit that purchase button and immediately hear a voice that says "what am I doing" or "this isn't going to work for me," I want you to pay attention to what just happened. That voice isn't wisdom. That's the old pattern doing exactly what it has always done, talking you out of the thing that could actually change it.
You're in the right spot. You don't need to respond to that voice. That's the pattern this program was built to reach.
And the format is private. No one sees you, no one hears you, and no one knows you're there.
I'm very impressed and pleased with the progress I've made on my journey with Tommy. He has helped me more than I could've imagined and now I'm equipped with tools to help myself going forward!
- Josh E.
I've spent fifteen years in clinical practice specializing in subconscious-level change. I've served over a thousand clients.
I hold a B.A. in Psychology from UC Irvine and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a 5-PATH® Certified Master Hypnotherapist, trained in EMDR, and a certified 7th Path Self-Hypnosis® instructor, trained directly in the protocol I teach inside The Pattern Playbook.
From within that breadth of clinical experience, I selected 7th Path as the foundation for The Pattern Playbook because it's the most structured, most teachable, and most effective protocol I've found for permanent pattern release.
My private practice clients include individual Division I athletes at Gonzaga University and Eastern Washington University, and individual Pro athletes. I was recently featured on the Compound Commitment podcast.
If you're already winning and want to expand, this is the guy you want in your corner.
- Michael P.
That's probably accurate. The effort was real, the commitment was genuine, and the change didn't hold.
The part worth sitting with is the conclusion you drew from that experience. Something in your mind took the failure of that earlier approach as proof that lasting change isn't available.
The reason isn't mysterious. The earlier approach was aimed at the wrong level. That wasn't a failure of your commitment. It was a structural mismatch, and the correction is specific: when the work reaches the level where the pattern is actually stored, the change holds.
The question is whether you're willing to let go of the conclusion your mind built from that experience. That conclusion isn't protecting you from disappointment. It's the pattern, using your own history as evidence for staying.
You may notice something familiar about this thought. You're waiting for things to calm down, for the current project to finish, for the next quarter to settle. The intention to act is real. The timing never arrives.
That isn't a scheduling problem. That's the pattern, producing the very noise you keep waiting to clear.
Every week you wait is another week the pattern runs unchallenged. Not because you're failing to prioritize, but because the programming has no reason to change until something reaches the level where it operates. The right time doesn't announce itself. It's chosen.
You hire a CPA for your taxes. A lawyer for your contracts. A financial advisor for your portfolio. None of those decisions threaten your identity.
This one feels different because your sense of self is built around being the person who figures things out. Deciding that this particular problem requires a guide feels like it contradicts everything you believe about yourself.
It doesn't. Recognizing that this problem lives at a level your conscious tools can't reach isn't a failure of competence. It's the clearest assessment you've made about yourself in a long time.
Your true self, underneath the programming, already knows this is worth pursuing. Choosing to act on that recognition isn't a departure from who you are. It's a return.
The founding cohort starts on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. Each Wednesday you receive a new video coaching lesson from Tommy along with that week's Recognition audio. You also have private one-on-one coaching access to Tommy throughout the program for questions, support and anything that comes up in the work. The program runs nine weeks of teachings with a final coaching session on October 7, 2026.
Each Wednesday you receive a new video coaching lesson from Tommy. In the video, Tommy reviews the previous week's practice, introduces the upcoming week's Recognition and gives you everything you need for the week ahead. That week's Recognition audio is delivered the same day and uploaded in your course dashboard. The Recognition is designed to be experienced privately in your own space, seated and undisturbed. On Wednesday evenings Tommy is live on Voxer to answer questions in real-time, still in a private format. You also have private one-on-one coaching access to Tommy throughout the week, so if anything comes up in the video or in your practice you can reach Tommy directly with voice or text. Tommy sends proactive check-ins to each student so you are never left wondering whether you are on track.
The weekly video coaching lesson runs about 30 minutes. The daily practice is the engine of the program. It's short, it's structured, and it fits into a morning, afternoon and evening routine for a total of 15 to 20 minutes a day. Most people find the practice becomes something they look forward to rather than something they have to fit in. Remember, the mental energy you've been spending managing the pattern every day is significantly more than what you'll spend on the daily practice.
No. The program intentionally moves on a defined weekly schedule. Each Wednesday Tommy releases a new video coaching lesson, and that week's Recognition is delivered to you the same day. Each Recognition builds on the last. The weekly rhythm isn't a scheduling preference. It's part of how the work produces change. The brain retrains through repetition and consistency, and the nine-week structure is designed to provide both. You watch the video on your own time and you have private coaching access to Tommy throughout the week if anything comes up. Each week you'll be integrating a new Recognition into your daily practice, so the structure is critical to produce meaningful results.
Yes, this is a self-hypnosis program. The 7th Path Self-Hypnosis® protocol is a clinically developed system created by Calvin D. Banyan from observed patterns across thousands of sessions. It isn't the hypnosis you may have seen on a stage or on television. You're aware the entire time. Nothing goes in that you didn't specifically choose. The process is structured, the outcomes are defined, and the person in control is you.
No. You're already controlling your mind. Most people are just controlling it in ways that are not working for them. This program teaches you how to access and direct a level of your own mind that conscious effort can't reach. The goal is to give you more access to your own mind, not less.
No, this isn't therapy. The Pattern Playbook is an educational program, not a therapeutic relationship. If you're in crisis, this isn't the right fit, and you should be working with a licensed professional in a clinical setting. This program was built for people who are already functioning at a high level and want to release the specific patterns that are limiting what is possible from here. There's no diagnosis, no clinical relationship. If you're interested in working with Tommy in a therapeutic relationship visit www.flickconnection.com.
No. Your coaching with Tommy is completely private and one-on-one. There is no group interaction, no community forum and no shared calls. The video coaching lessons are from Tommy to you. Your private coaching channel with Tommy is between you and him. The weekly Recognition work itself is yours and it's private. This isn't an online community. It's a structured program with private coaching and personal support.
None. The Operating System session and the first Recognition teach you everything you need before you begin the daily practice. The program is intentionally designed to meet you where you are.
It can, and that's actually part of how the work reaches what it's designed to reach. You have private one-on-one coaching access to Tommy through the ten weeks for exactly this reason. You're not doing this alone, and if something surfaces that needs attention, Tommy is there.
All video coaching lessons, Recognition audios and materials live in a private course dashboard you can access from your computer or cell phone. Your private coaching with Tommy runs through a separate voice-and-text channel throughout the program.
Two options. A one-time payment of $1,197 or two payments of $697. Both include everything in the program. The one-time payment saves you $197.
If you enroll and realize before the program begins that this isn't the right fit, you get a full refund minus processing fees. Once the program starts, you're in for the full ten weeks, and Tommy is committed to you for the same.
It works on any pattern. The people who get the most from this work tend to be dealing with: chronic overactivation and racing thoughts; a persistent gap between external success and internal satisfaction; avoidance and hesitation that willpower hasn't been able to move; difficulty being present with the people they care about; and a sense that something is running underneath that they haven't been able to reach. The method works on the underlying programming, not the specific symptom.
I've spent fifteen years sitting across from people who look a lot like you. Capable, driven, doing well by every measure anyone else would use, and quietly carrying something that doesn't match the life they have built.
They come in thinking they need to work harder on themselves, and what they discover is that the person they have been looking for was never missing. They were underneath the noise the whole time, waiting for the programming to clear so they could come forward.
That's what I built The Pattern Playbook to do. When that happens, the mental noise quiets. Joy returns. Curiosity returns. The body relaxes alongside the mind. You start putting your energy toward what genuinely matters to you, and the things that were draining your attention quietly fall away.
I've watched this happen across fifteen years of practice, and it still moves me every time.
If you're reading this and feeling resistance, I want to give you something whether you enroll or not. That resistance: the voice saying this isn't the right time, that it costs too much, that you can't fit one more thing into your week, is the very pattern this program is built to reach. You're watching it protect itself, right now, in real time.
For a moment, please sit with that realization. You just watched your mind build a case for staying exactly where you are.
And if you're ready, there's no version of this where waiting makes it easier. Every week between now and the decision to retrain is another week the pattern operates the way it always has. You have the awareness. You have the curiosity. The only thing you haven't had is access to the level where the pattern actually lives.
That's exactly what The Pattern Playbook provides. You owe this to yourself, let's do the work.
